Navy Kind of Green

Having lived in London for 1,5 years now, I never really explored the areas outside Central London. Take Greenwich, for instance. I've been meaning to go there since last year but all sorts of things got in the way. Last weekend, me and Annissa fulfilled that wish and we went there to see what's the fuss about.

The weather wasn't being too friendly when we arrived. But then again, it is London. Whadya expect, right? Nonetheless we managed to make the best out of things and had heaps of fun and laughter anyways. We did a bit of exploring of the Greenwich Uni, ate at this dainty family restaurant next to the pier called Frank and Benny's, followed by a trip to the National Maritime Museum. We learned quite a bit of navy history and a brief chronicle of the heroic Horatio Nelson, whose statue stands tall on top of the monument in Trafalgar Square.

After seeing all there is to see, we decided that we had to bounce to someplace warm else we're gonna die of coldness. As soon as we can, we head to Westfield Stratford where I spent most of the time chilling at Pret due to utter exhaustion. On top of it all, again, another day well spent.
