Manor Blue House
"Pardon my lengthy absence!" is a sentence that's thrown a lot in this blog, I see. However yes, if you are one of the amazing people that actually do read my blog, my sincere apology for not updating for almost a month now. Regardless, life went on as usual. Easter break ended, school is starting, revision mode: on. Exam in less than a month time. So do expect more of "sorry for the late post!" or, "finally, an update!" from me. But promise you, I will as soon as I have the time (and energy) to write something worthy of reading in this blog.
On the brighter note, the sun finally decided to show its glorious self every now and then, making the weather now in the double digits. yayers. I can go out even with only my blazer! (Is it sad that I consider wearing only blazer out as an achievement?) Anyways. yes. I haven't worn this top for so long and now I got the chance to. *happy*
Have a great week everyone, and to those who have exams, all the best! :)

Zoo & Dungarees : Back to The Childhood
For those of you who knows me personally or pretty well, you might know that this girl have a pretty intense fondness towards the zoo. Any zoo, any day, any time. This time, I was lucky enough cause one of our really good friend Xiao Ling came down from Ireland so we (Annissa and I) get to bring her to the zoo. I. was. psyched. Mainly because I haven't been there for God knows how long, also because they have just opened their new "Tiger Territory" this one section dedicated solely to, well, tigers. Another fun fact, one of the tiger's name is Melati! (Melati means Jasmine in Indonesian language) She's a Sumatran Tiger :)
I could go inappropriately on and on about tigers and their other animal pals, but let's not go there. Instead, I'll talk about my outfit on the day. Again, was pretty delighted to have stumbled upon these cute overalls (or dungarees, I've heard it both ways)! The first thing that popped into my mind was my childhood, how my mum always told me to wear them cause I look like the cutest little button with it. Ah, good times. Anyways, I tried to relive those moments by going to the zoo and dressed up like a little kid. Even my red converse is out! All I needed was my pigtails and a lollipop and I'm all set.
Nonetheless it was a pretty exhilarating day, and at night we had dinner at this Msian restaurant called Tuk Din, the food was pleasant but we realised that the place wasn't a hangout corner as we were told to decrease our volume. Still not feeling complacent with the time we had during the dinner, we extend our dinner to a "dessert" session at Boba Jam, Leicester Square. Always a good time when you're with your confidants. x

Paint The Town Pastel
Hi everyone! Pardon my rather lengthy absence! The easter break has begun and there were so many things occurring in the first week :) For starters, I stayed at Suzanne's place for almost two weeks. However in the middle I was travelling to Berlin with my other girls. Will talk about it later. Briefly, it was a rather eye-opening trip. Learnt so much history there! Not to mention we visited a concentration camp site, which was quite gory and terrifying and most of all, depressing. As I said, will elaborate upon it later :)
Again, the seasons of the blooming flowers have arrived. Maybe not completely in London, but at least the sun is shining a little bit longer nowadays. With that being said, I felt like exposing myself to a brighter shade of outfit. Thank goodness for Primark! ;) I got the pink tiger sweats from there, and the shorts too! Actually was planning to wear this back in Indo during summer, but I just can't wait!
Oh and lastly, Happy (belated) Easter for all who celebrate! x

Monochrome and Party Hats
First off, my apologies for not posting for almost a week. It's just that it's the last week of school and other things just got in the way. Nonetheless, this post is about what I did last weekend. Based on the title and the pictures it's pretty obvious that I attended the 21st of none other than my darling Raisa Menon! Many happy returns!
Due to the fact that I had to be out the whole day since morning cause of dance practice before the event, I chose to wear something practical instead of some intricate outfit that'll look good undoubtedly but it's not the kind that you'd wanna wear the whole day. Again, pieces from h&m were what I opted for. Indonight is coming up real soon and I feel psyched yet scared at the same time! x

Welcoming Spring with Flowers and Tiaras
Last weekend London weather was highly harmonious, with more sun shining, less wind blowing and definitely higher temperature. Unfortunately, the following week London chose to betray us by bringing the awful snow back. Nonetheless, these were taken during London at its best (so far) and I'm glad cause I can finally wear the printed leggings I got from H&M a couple of weeks ago. Actually, the shirt and wedges are from their collection as well. Then I thought to myself, it's like I just came out of the SS13 H&M catalogue with the exception of the accessories, as they are from F21 :-)
Saman dance practice are getting more and more intense these days, as the performance date is just around the corner. Attended some events this weekend, like Yuin Yi's 21st and Imperial M-Night. Gonna post about it another time :-)
p/s photo creds goes to Annissa, as per ush.

I Am Shanka; Hear Me Roar in Little Venice
The other day, when I went to settle my Schengen visa I stumbled upon this lovely place next to Paddington station. I've actually seen this place a couple of times (since I've applied for visa multiple times now) but never really go down that road. Last weekend, me, Annisa and Suzanne went to explore the petite canal that runs through the beloved city of London. What we saw was enticing. Not only was the view amazing but the weather was nothing less than amicable.
Before this we went for the Saman dance practice, it's been going on quite a while now. We are scheduled to perform in the Indonight 2013! If you wish to get a ticket contact me pls ;) anw on the other note I was glad that I could finally wear my baby tiger sweater-dress that I got a couple of weeks ago from Camden Stables Market. Typical me, loving everything about tigers! x
